FAQ

Practical answers about products, private-label support, orders and delivery.

Product Questions

What is the difference between Type 1, Type 2 and Type 1+2 SPDs?

Type 1 handles direct lightning current at the service entrance, Type 2 limits residual overvoltage for downstream equipment, and Type 1+2 combines both functions in one unit for compact installations.

Which voltage ratings are available?

Standard AC models cover 230/400 V systems, and DC/PV models cover 600 V, 1000 V and 1500 V photovoltaic strings. Custom ratings can be configured for OEM orders.

Do you offer SPDs for photovoltaic systems?

Yes. The N8UP series is designed for PV combiner boxes and inverters, with type testing to the IEC 61643-31 requirements.

Private-label Questions

Can you print our logo on the products?

Yes. We support logo printing, custom labels and model coding on both the device and its packaging for private label programmes.

What is the MOQ for private label orders?

MOQ depends on the model and the level of customisation. We confirm it together with the quotation after reviewing your requirement.

Can you customise packaging and cartons?

Yes. Colour boxes, carton design, packing quantity and manuals can all be produced to your brand specification.

Orders & Samples

Can I get samples before a bulk order?

Yes. We provide samples or small trial batches so you can verify performance, marking and packaging before mass production.

What is the typical lead time?

Sample orders ship within a few days. Bulk orders typically take 15–30 days depending on quantity and configuration.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept T/T, L/C and other commonly used trade payment terms, confirmed on the proforma invoice.

Product Support

Do you provide wiring diagrams and installation guidance?

Yes. Datasheets include wiring diagrams, and our team can advise on installation position and backup protection.

Can you help select the right SPD for my project?

Yes. Share your system voltage, installation location and equipment type, and we will recommend a suitable model and configuration.

Do your SPDs have a remote signal contact?

Most series offer an optional remote signal contact for status monitoring, and it can be configured per order.
