Description

The N8UP1+2-1500PV50/12.5 is a high-performance Type 1+2 surge protection device engineered specifically for modern high-voltage photovoltaic systems. Designed to safeguard solar installations against both direct lightning strikes and switching transients, it delivers a total impulse discharge current of 12.5kA (10/350μs) , a nominal discharge current of 25kA (8/20μs), and a maximum continuous operating voltage of 1500V DC – making it ideal for next-generation PV arrays. With a low voltage protection level of 4kV, it ensures reliable protection for inverters and other sensitive DC-side equipment. Response time is ≤25ns between DC+ and DC−, and ≤100ns between DC+/DC− and PE. Featuring a 3P configuration (90×54×66mm), it mounts on a 35mm DIN rail and supports backup fuses up to 125A. The flame-retardant UL 94 V-0 housing and wide terminal compatibility (1.5–35mm² cables) ensure secure and versatile installation. Operates reliably from –40℃ to +85℃ at altitudes up to 5000m. IP20 rated for indoor use.
