N8UF2+3-15 Type 2+3 AC Surge Protection Device

Description

The N8UF2+3-15 is a versatile Type 2+3 surge protection device, available in standard and NPE versions, designed to safeguard sensitive electronics from transient overvoltages caused by switching events and lightning strikes. The standard model features a maximum discharge current of 15kA (8/20μs) , a nominal discharge current of 5kA, a composite wave open-circuit voltage of 10kV (1.2/50μs) , and an ultra-low voltage protection level of 1.25kV with response time ≤25ns. The NPE variant adds a 12.5kA impulse discharge current (10/350μs) for enhanced N–PE protection, with a slightly longer response time ≤100ns. Available in 2P and 4P configurations, it mounts on a 35mm DIN rail and supports backup fuses up to 125A. The flame-retardant UL 94 V-0 housing and wide terminal compatibility (1.5–35mm² cables) ensure secure and flexible installation. Operates reliably from –40℃ to +85℃ and at altitudes up to 5000m. IP20 rated for indoor use.
