Description

The N8UP1+2-1000PV50/12.5 is a high-performance Type 1+2 surge protection device purpose-built for photovoltaic power systems. Engineered to protect solar installations from both direct lightning strikes and switching transients, it delivers a maximum discharge current of 50kA (8/20μs) , a nominal discharge current of 20kA, an impulse discharge current of 6.25kA (10/350μs) , and a total impulse discharge current of 12.5kA (10/350μs) for enhanced lightning protection. With a maximum continuous operating voltage of 1000V DC and a voltage protection level of 4.5kV, it ensures reliable protection for PV arrays and inverters. Response time is ≤25ns between DC+ and DC−, and ≤100ns between DC+/DC− and PE. Featuring a 3P configuration (90×54×66mm), it mounts on a 35mm DIN rail and supports backup fuses up to 125A. The flame-retardant UL 94 V-0 housing and wide terminal compatibility (1.5–35mm² cables) ensure secure and versatile installation. Operates reliably from –40℃ to +85℃at altitudes up to 5000m. IP20 rated for indoor use.
