N8UE2-40 Type 2 AC Surge Protection Device

Description

The N8UE2-40 is a high-performance Type 2 surge protection device built to protect electrical systems and sensitive equipment from transient overvoltages caused by switching events and indirect lightning strikes. With a robust maximum discharge current of 40kA (8/20μs) and a nominal discharge current of 20kA, it delivers powerful suppression while maintaining a low voltage protection level of 1.5kV and an ultra-fast response time ≤25ns. Available in 1P–4P configurations, it mounts easily on a standard 35mm DIN rail and supports backup fuses up to 125A. The flame-retardant UL 94 V-0 housing and wide terminal compatibility (1.5–35mm² cables) ensure secure and versatile installation. Engineered for extreme conditions, it operates reliably from –40℃ to +85℃ and at altitudes up to 5000m. IP20 rated for indoor use.
